Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain equipment to cut off, weld, grind, anneal, grit blast, inspect, and pack Porta Band blades.
  • •Set up and adjust automatic cut-off and resistance butt welding processes, including required length/quantity checks and machine adjustments.
  • •Remove weld flash using grinding wheel/belt grinder; maintain welder jaws and complete required documentation.
  • •Perform inspections and tests throughout the manufacturing process; prepare blades for packing in shipping containers.
  • •Perform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance (disassemble, clean, lubricate, repair) and handle scrap/rework in compliance with ISO 9001.
