Job Summary

Provide effective and safe nursing care to a select group of patients and families, delivering care in line with QCHP Nursing/Midwifery Competency Framework and Scope of Practice. Assess patients using nursing processes, administer medications and therapeutic agents, perform immunizations and phlebotomy, and observe reactions and patient condition. Plan and document care in the electronic medical record, ensure quality and patient safety, and coordinate with healthcare teams while meeting Joint Commission International and facility requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify patient-care outcomes and ensure timely, quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards and care philosophies set by QCHP and governing agencies.
•Perform basic patient assessment to determine normal versus abnormal characteristics.
•Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process, including medication administration and implementation of plans for treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation.
•Conduct clinical procedures such as skin tests, immunizations, phlebotomy, and initiating peripheral venous access; observe illness signs and reactions to medications or treatments.
•Plan, implement, report, and document patient care in the electronic medical record, including emergency procedures when indicated, while maintaining coordinated communication with healthcare teams.

Key Requirements

•Provide nursing care safely and effectively using established nursing regimes under the guidance of a preceptor or designated RN.
•Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
•Minimum 3 years of experience (required).
•Minimum 1 year of experience in GCC (preferred).
•ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, required to be successful in the role.
