Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare, organize, and manage settlement documents and internal case management databases, tracking mass tort administration stages.
  • •Support claims intake, review, evaluation, management, and organization using firm-approved technologies.
  • •Coordinate settlement workflow progress and documentation completion with attorneys and team members.
  • •Conduct settlement-related legal research; draft correspondence/reports and assist with claim assessments.
  • •Review settlement agreements for compliance and accuracy, coordinate payment requests/disbursement procedures, and draft/review court documents for filing.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required.
  • •3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal with settlement or claims administration experience.
  • •Experience with mass tort or multidistrict litigation (MDL) and high-volume settlement administration.
  • •Familiarity with medical records, lien resolution, and Medicare reporting requirements.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, plus experience using matter management systems and comfort learning new technology.
