Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead conceptual electrical engineering efforts and oversee engineering of record for detailed design, specifications, and technical evaluation of electrical equipment.
  • •Oversee design, specification, and integration of power generation and backup generation systems, including gas turbines, reciprocating engines, and steam turbines.
  • •Develop sequence of operations, control logic, and system integration requirements for electrical systems.
  • •Ensure electrical studies (load flow, coordination, arc flash, reliability assessments) are current and compliant with applicable codes and standards.
  • •Support capital projects and facility operations by diagnosing complex electrical/control issues and recommending engineered solutions, including root-cause analysis with vendors.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering focused on large industrial or utility distribution systems, including protective relaying.
  • •Experience with electrical studies such as load flow, coordination, arc flash, and reliability assessments in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • •Capability to develop detailed engineering design, specifications, and technical evaluation for MV switchgear, transformers, protective relays, motor control systems, and power distribution components.
  • •Professional Engineer certification is desired.
