Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and deliver a strategic plan for the Sub-Saharan Africa football category within EM South, in partnership with the Senior Sports Marketing Manager.
  • •Identify, recruit, and manage football talent across EMS, focusing on athletes that drive brand heat and commercial relevance.
  • •Manage and maintain relationships with players, clubs, federations, agents, and brand partners, including negotiation and contractual management.
  • •Track contractual appearances, rights delivery, and partner obligations while ensuring strong social media presence and positive adidas visibility.
  • •Manage the football brand partner budget and monitor sports marketing financials relative to the category, including ROI planning and KPI tracking.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus.
  • •7–10 years of brand and sports marketing experience (agency or client-side consumer goods), ideally including Sub-Saharan Africa football and partnership or athlete/club/federation servicing.
  • •Ability to identify, evaluate, and secure potential football brand partners within the Sub-Saharan Africa Football category.
  • •Experience building and maintaining key relationships across clubs, federations, players, agents, and football stakeholders.
  • •Fluent written and spoken English.
