Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the joint venture organization, overseeing cargo and ground handling operations at Alat Airport and driving the development of a premier freighter hub.
  • •Partner with regional leadership to develop strategy aligned to dnata’s global airport operations strategy and deliver strategic objectives.
  • •Oversee planning and integration of diverse business functions over a 2–3 year horizon, including workforce planning and the operating model.
  • •Accountable for financial results preparation and consolidation, plus planning and budgeting, monitoring performance against targets.
  • •Set measurable objectives for direct reports, drive talent management and high-performance culture, and ensure compliance with local legislation, safety standards, and required security procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Aviation Management, or Logistics.
  • •Minimum 15 years’ experience in aviation, cargo, or ground handling operations.
  • •At least 5 years in an executive leadership position overseeing large-scale, multi-site operations.
  • •Proven experience in financial management, strategic planning, and delivering operational excellence in an international or joint venture environment.
  • •Strong knowledge of aviation safety and cargo compliance standards, with certification in Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) awareness.
