Key Responsibilities

  • •Own network design, integration planning, and capability introduction across the mission’s network and enclaves.
  • •Set technical direction and technical standards, lead design reviews, and review other engineers’ work.
  • •Create and maintain solution designs, integration plans, network diagrams, and documentation supporting accreditation and delivery.
  • •Plan and implement major changes to core routing/switching infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VPN concentrators, and SD-WAN redundancy/failover design.
  • •Monitor networks for anomalies, coordinate partner integration/coalition architecture, and support maintenance/upgrade of network systems including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and remote access.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • •8+ years of related network engineering experience, designing and implementing routed networks in multi-enclave, multi-vendor high-availability environments.
  • •Ability to lead network design from requirement through implementation, including design documentation and technical review.
  • •Knowledge of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) design and Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC).
  • •DoD Top Secret security clearance and CCNA (or equivalent), plus IAT Level II certification or higher to meet DoD 8570 requirements.
