Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor publicly available online information in multiple languages, including Russian, to detect threats to people, locations, and events.
  • •Use Russian language skills, Boolean logic, and automated search tools to identify potential threats.
  • •Research and review information across social media, news sites, forums, and other open source sources.
  • •Support translation efforts with correct cultural and ethnic context when needed.
  • •Provide threat findings for use by security and law enforcement personnel, with required shift work (6am-6:15pm, 4 shifts on/4 shifts off).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 90,000 - 105,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or 4 years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • •Proficiency in Russian, including the ability to translate with correct cultural and ethnic context.
  • •Strong English and Russian communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • •Advanced online research experience, including knowledge of internet-based research and Boolean logic.
  • •Knowledge of machine language translation methods and the ability to learn new software.
