Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and drive scalable, cloud-native target-state architecture across the end-to-end software platform for the data platform.
  • •Define scalable automated data ingestion architectural patterns.
  • •Deliver hands-on proof-of-concepts with SQL, PySpark, and/or serverless Python to validate design decisions.
  • •Drive governance, architecture consistency, and component reuse to maximize integration and reduce technical debt.
  • •Define and enforce data platform security standards and infrastructure security to prevent breaches.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive data architecture experience driving cloud data platform design decisions, including strong data modeling and governance.
  • •Strong Databricks (or Spark-based lakehouse) experience and hands-on capability with SQL and PySpark for building/designing complex solutions.
  • •Experience using agentic AI in the SDLC for efficiency and GenAI in data workloads for analysis.
  • •Ability to design analytics and reporting data schemas and make sound technology trade-offs based on TCO.
  • •Minimum 15 years in software industry, including at least 3 years in an architecture position.
