Validate next-generation CPU and cache functionality by working in a silicon lab on at-speed test setup, hardware bring-up, and debug. Coordinate deliverables across RTL, DFT, and implementation teams while troubleshooting design and tool issues. Communicate findings through technical presentations to peers and management.

Key Responsibilities

•Work in a silicon lab to creatively solve challenging problems.
•Set up hardware systems for at-speed testing and debug.
•Develop, run, and debug x86 software to validate microprocessor design functionality and testability.
•Coordinate project deliverables with cross-discipline/site RTL, DFT, and implementation teams and product manufacturing teams.
•Solve design and tool problems and create technical presentations for peers and management.

Key Requirements

•Prior experience validating microprocessors/ASIC hardware in a lab setting.
•Proven programming proficiency in x86 assembly, C/C++, Perl, Ruby, and Python, with strong logic simulation competence.
•Knowledge of Verilog HDL and System Verilog.
•Demonstrated solid understanding of modern computer architecture.
•BS/MS in EE, CS, CSE (or similar) preferred.
