Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely operate a ready-mix concrete truck to manufacture, deliver, and unload concrete to customer standards.
  • •Maintain cleanliness of the truck and drum, including rinsing before and after deliveries.
  • •Comply with OSHA and USDOT/FMCSA safe-operating practices and use PPE as directed.
  • •Check delivery tickets for special instructions, maintain communication with dispatcher/plant supervisor, and complete required paperwork/signatures.
  • •Collect customer payments, respond to basic product/concrete questions, and perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a valid Class B CDL (or complete training and pass the CDL exam to obtain licensure).
