Job Summary

Drive new deal underwriting and diligence for technology and infrastructure borrowers, leading risk identification, data-room review, sponsor/management diligence calls, and negotiation of closing legal documents. Manage and oversee a portfolio of 10–15 existing borrower accounts, including quarterly risk ratings, KPI/financial tracking, and upsizes/amendments/waivers. Mentor junior analysts and associates and coordinate with credit officers, capital markets, and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities

•Screen and provide feedback on new deal opportunities, leading the underwriting and diligence process from risk identification through closing.
•Mentor and oversee junior deal team members and their work, including development and use of the financial projection model.
•Manage a portfolio of approximately 10–15 existing borrower accounts, including quarterly updates, reviews, and credit file maintenance.
•Lead upsizes/amendments/waivers for existing borrowers and increase involvement on problem credits.
•Manage internal approval and loan closing processes (including KYC), lead investment committee meetings, and negotiate closing legal documents.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 125,000 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BS/BA preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
•5–7 years of work experience in Accounting/Finance/Banking (or a Master’s degree with 1–3 years).
•Experience working in sponsor finance or on leveraged loan transactions.
•Ability to answer unstructured business questions and work independently to drive tasks to completion.
•Strong analytical skills and proficiency with financial statements.
