Key Responsibilities

  • •Own DevOps strategy and roadmap for data platforms (e.g., data lake/warehouse, streaming, analytics, ML platforms), leading DevOps/SRE engineers and providing coaching, standards, and delivery oversight.
  • •Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for data and platform components, including AI-assisted quality gates where appropriate.
  • •Drive Infrastructure as Code adoption and quality (Terraform/CloudFormation/ARM), build golden paths and self-service templates, and introduce AI-enabled developer experience improvements within approved controls.
  • •Define and track SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, and operational KPIs for critical data services, improving reliability, resilience, and operational excellence.
  • •Embed security-by-design across secrets management, least privilege, vulnerability management, patching, and secure pipeline controls; coordinate with security/risk teams and ensure audit-ready evidence for changes and access.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience leading DevOps/SRE for enterprise platforms, ideally in data/analytics environments, with strong CI/CD expertise and Git-based workflows.
  • •Hands-on Infrastructure as Code and configuration management, including reusable automation patterns, and solid understanding of cloud and/or container platforms like Kubernetes and OpenShift.
  • •Observability experience (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/Splunk, Datadog) and ability to implement automation for incident response and operational workflows, including AIOps concepts.
  • •Security fundamentals including IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and secure SDLC, with scripting/programming skills such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • •Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience, plus desirable certifications in Kubernetes/cloud, Terraform, and/or ITIL/SRE.
