Job Summary

Partner with the Chief ESG & Legal Officer to lead internal and external communications strategies focused on governance, sustainability, public affairs, and responsible business. Create executive narratives, talking points, and content for leadership forums and sensitive stakeholder updates, integrate ESG into day-to-day business messaging, and ensure consistent tone of voice. Manage calendars and reporting to measure communication effectiveness, influence enterprise alignment, and strengthen Philips’ trust and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead internal and external communications strategies for the Chief ESG & Legal Officer aligned to Philips’ purpose, business priorities, culture, and values.
•Partner with Legal, ESG, Public Affairs, Government Affairs, Compliance, and IP&S/Comms/Brand stakeholders to keep employees and leaders informed and aligned.
•Create executive narratives, messages, content, talking points, Q&A, and presentation materials for internal channels such as Viva Engage, global town halls, leadership meetings, webcasts, and sensitive updates.
•Integrate ESG into day-to-day business communications, emphasizing sustainable innovation, healthcare access, patient safety, quality, integrity, and responsible operations.
•Oversee channel consistency, manage content calendars and editorial schedules, and measure/report communication effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience in internal and/or external communications with business partnering at a very senior, C-suite level in a global international organization, preferably in healthcare, technology, legal, ESG, public affairs, or regulated sectors.
•Master’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Brand Management, Public Affairs, Sustainability, Law, or equivalent experience.
•Strong understanding of legal, compliance, governance, ESG, sustainability reporting, public affairs, and reputation dynamics.
•Deep ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and guide leaders through change, sensitive topics, and ambiguity.
•Comfort creating and managing AI-enabled communication workflows and working at the forefront of AI transformation of communications.
