Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and improve plant equipment using Sonoco maintenance excellence and reliability best practices to maximize availability.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize repeat failures.
  • •Drive preventive/predictive maintenance efforts, including development/optimization of maintenance procedures and tasks.
  • •Install, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems (including AC/DC drives/motors) and perform PLC troubleshooting/modifications as needed.
  • •Document maintenance activity in CMMS and coordinate with operations to address abnormal/degraded conditions impacting safety, quality, or productivity.
