Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide standard and customer-specific mechanical engineering deliverables for MV switchgear, aligned to requirements, applicable standards, and manufacturing capabilities.
  • •Maintain accurate BOMs, 3D models, and manufacturing drawings within PLM/PDM systems and SAP.
  • •Prepare technical specifications, documentation, drawings, and work instructions, ensuring BOM completeness and accuracy.
  • •Conduct and support Design and Process FMEA to identify risks, implement mitigations, and improve reliability and quality.
  • •Coordinate with stakeholders and drive customer approvals for standard and customized mechanical design solutions while documenting activities and improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Mechatronics engineering.
  • •Minimum 2 years of relevant mechanical design experience for medium-voltage (MV) switchgear.
  • •Experience with Inventor and/or Creo Direct Modeling and Solidworks.
  • •Experience with PLM/PDM tooling (e.g., Model Manager, ENOVIA, SolidWorks PDM).
  • •Knowledge of IEC 62271 series standards and sheet metal, machining, and welding manufacturing technologies.
