Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide mechanical design support and expertise to ESP & HPumps (Surface) Systems Group under the direction of the Mechanical Engineering Manager.
  • •Assess potential mechanical improvements for existing completion equipment and downhole systems using client and field feedback.
  • •Implement required design changes and demonstrate suitability and robustness via calculation and analysis (GD&T, stackups).
  • •Ensure design changes comply with relevant codes of practice (where applicable).
  • •Prepare design reports and support production, manufacturing, assembly, field, supply chain, and quality activities as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant technical degree (Mechatronics, Electronic, etc) with equivalent experience.
  • •5+ years’ experience in a similar role, with experience designing oilfield (preferably downhole) equipment as a plus.
  • •Solid knowledge of CAD (Solidworks/NX).
  • •Knowledge of ERP systems (TeamCenter, SAP).
  • •Good understanding of mechanical/structural analytical and numerical design techniques, with fluent English communication.
