Job Summary

Support the Export Finance team in Dubai by helping originate, structure, and execute Export Credit Agency (ECA) transactions across the MENAT region. Collaborate with Infrastructure Finance and Banking teams on limited/non-recourse project finance components, conduct industry and company research, and prepare key deal materials such as pitch books, term sheets, and credit applications. Assist with reporting, syndication opportunities, transaction documentation, and environmental & social due diligence while ensuring regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

•Support origination, structuring, and execution of ECA financing transactions with corporate and government borrowers, including ECA-related elements of limited/non-recourse project finance.
•Collaborate across multi-functional teams to deliver HSBC’s universal banking product range and maximize cross-sell opportunities.
•Conduct industry and company-specific research and share market trends, knowledge, and ideas with relevant teams.
•Prepare and facilitate deal deliverables such as pitch books, letters of interest, term sheets, mandate letters, due diligence, credit applications, and facility documentation.
•Support syndication/distribution opportunities, transaction documentation, environmental and social due diligence, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

•Experience in export finance/infrastructure finance/project finance/loan management/corporate finance is desirable.
•Experience in ECA financing is a major advantage.
•Demonstrable understanding of banking and key financing/loan products.
•Experience with transactions in the MENAT region; understanding of the local infrastructure financing market is desired.
•A graduation degree is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and work permit, including required attestations/equivalency if earned outside the UAE.
