Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform initial acceptance checks, complete teardowns, and advanced troubleshooting of weapon malfunctions using specialized diagnostic tools.
  • •Replace worn, broken, or obsolete parts on small arms and heavy artillery in accordance with technical manuals and manufacturer specifications.
  • •Align, adjust, and test-fire repaired weapon systems to verify function, precision, and accuracy.
  • •Maintain vault safety, inventory accountability for sensitive items and ammunition, and accurate maintenance logs.
  • •Train, mentor, and supervise subordinate armorers, and complete lead administrative duties such as personnel accountability, timekeeping, and drafting/submitting reports.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 27.01 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of professional small arms repair experience (or equivalent military/civilian small arms training like MOS 45/91F series).
  • •Completed 92Y Unit Armorer Certification Course: 551-F29 (MTT-A/G) (or equivalent civilian training).
  • •Must be able to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result and obtain/maintain a CAC.
  • •Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
  • •Minimum of a High School Diploma / GED.
