Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform engineering analyses and structural design under the direct supervision of experienced, licensed professional engineers.
  • •Provide structural engineering support for multi-discipline design projects from work scope development through completion of construction.
  • •Evaluate and apply applicable building and design code requirements (e.g., IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC).
  • •Use computer software to build and solve structural engineering problems, including 3D analytical structural models.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • •2+ years of relevant heavy industrial and/or power generation experience.
  • •Some hands-on experience supporting heavy industrial and power generation projects.
  • •EIT or PE license.
  • •Demonstrated experience with structural steel and reinforced concrete design and with building/design codes such as AISC, ACI 318, International Building Code, and ASCE 7.
