Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, execute, collect data, analyze, and compile reports from complex process engineering experiments, including on-wafer structural and electrical characterization.
  • •Perform hardware characterization and collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to improve product performance.
  • •Troubleshoot complex problems and perform root-cause analysis to resolve difficult process engineering issues related to novel etch processes and equipment.
  • •Generate internal and external documentation, presentations, and technical reports.
  • •Interact with customers to resolve process, hardware, and integration problems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a science/engineering field (Physics, chemistry, materials science, electrical engineering, chemical engineering); advanced degree is a plus.
  • •Knowledge of semiconductor device characterization and materials analysis (electron microscopy, thin film characterization, compositional analysis, electrical characterization and interpretation).
  • •Experience with silicon wafer plasma processing equipment, including in-depth knowledge of plasma-etch hardware and process.
  • •Understanding of semiconductor device and process technology.
  • •Excellent analytical and communication skills.
