Job Summary

Lead the definition, design and development of Active and Passive antennas for Space applications within Airbus Defence & Space. Define optimized antenna concepts across mechanical, thermal, electrical and RF architecture, supporting ESA projects and European antenna systems while ensuring cost, performance and safety objectives.

Job Function: Administration & Executive Assistance

Key Responsibilities

•Define antenna concepts and optimizations for space applications across mechanical, thermal, electrical and RF architecture, leading to best-in-market designs.
•Lead the development and validation of Active and Passive Antennas within the Antenna System Design & Validation Spain group for SPAINSAT and Galileo programs.
•Identify the development activities required by the lifecycle to ensure compliance with regulations and program requirements.
•Propose design optimizations in terms of cost, performance, production/assembly requirements while ensuring highest safety of the product.
•Support projects to deliver optimized antenna designs and contribute to Airbus Defence & Space development in this domain.

Key Requirements

•Master's degree in Telecommunication, Aeronautical or equivalent engineering.
•Good knowledge of antenna configuration concepts.
•Experience with Active and Passive Antennas for Space applications.
•Experience on ESA (European Space Agency) projects would be appreciated.
•Autonomy, reactivity and adaptability; technical curiosity and pro-activity; English language skills (negotiation level).
