Job Summary

Serve as an Adjunct Clinical Nursing faculty member for pre-licensure nursing students with a focus on Medical-Surgical nursing. Reinforce didactic content, collaborate with nursing faculty on student evaluations, and support grading and clinical performance check-offs. Stay current on nursing practice trends, maintain program accreditation compliance, and travel within the Phoenix, AZ area to observe students during clinical rotations while modeling the university’s mission and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Reinforce didactic content by teaching nursing knowledge and skills for pre-licensure nursing.

•Remain current with new trends and development in Medical-Surgical nursing practice.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's in nursing AND 3 years of recent direct patient care nursing experience in Medical-Surgical nursing AND enrolled in a graduate program.
•OR hold relevant national certification for the clinical area in which you teach.
•Active, current, unencumbered, and unrestricted AZ or multi-state (compact) RN license.
•Must successfully pass a drug test and competency testing.
•Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students.
