Key Responsibilities

•Perform engineering analysis and design for overhead transmission lines, including structure loading, conductor sag/tension, foundations, and line routing.
•Prepare construction packages including plan & profile drawings, structure selection, material specifications, and engineering calculations.
•Utilize industry‑standard software such as PLS‑CADD, PLS‑POLE, PLS‑TOWER, and related tools.
•Support project lifecycle activities including scope development, cost estimating, scheduling, and field support.
•Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, and provide engineering support during construction including responding to RFIs and field verifications.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 80,000 - 120,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field + 2 years of relevant experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
•Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification
•Understanding of transmission line design principles (loading criteria, structural analysis, conductor behavior, foundations).
•Experience with CAD or engineering design tools; familiarity with PLS‑CADD strongly preferred.
•Occasional travel to other AECOM locations and client sites
