Job Summary

Manage and execute world-class global sourcing strategies for Power Electronics components, including supplier selection, development, cost management, contracts, and escalations. Partner with internal teams to build value-based long-term sourcing plans, monitor trends and technology roadmaps, and lead contract negotiations and design review cost control. Drive procurement initiatives across production sites, support NPI material sourcing with forward price projections, and maintain supplier performance through QBRs.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the global sourcing strategy for Power Electronics components, including supplier selection, development, cost management, contract management, supplier relationship management, and escalations.
•Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and drive global, value-based, long-term sourcing strategies supporting business growth.
•Stay informed on global trends and technology roadmaps, partnering with design, operations, and sales to address supply and demand challenges.
•Lead contract negotiations, including global business agreements, pricing agreements, warranties, service agreements, and related contracts.
•Drive strategic procurement initiatives across production sites, including cost roadmaps, capacity planning, allocation strategies, supplier performance metrics, and QBRs.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•5+ years of strategic sourcing experience in electronics focused on Power Electronics components and products such as DC-DC/AC-DC converters, inverters, transformers, PV optimizers, MV switchgears, skid integration, and energy storage.
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent experience; Master’s degree desirable.
•Ability to understand technical drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), specifications, and Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs), with knowledge of manufacturing process controls and quality assurance for PV plant components.
•Proven communication and influence skills across suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
•Experience in the EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) industry and demonstrated expertise in complex sourcing, negotiating, and supply chain strategies.
