Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the foreperson with daily production duties by operating heavy equipment and performing portable plant related functions.
  • •Maintain and safely operate equipment and perform general maintenance on equipment.
  • •Assist with daily plant operations and upkeep, including clean up around the plant, equipment, and surrounding area.
  • •Detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly while following OSHA/MSHA and safety policies.
  • •Assist miscellaneous duties as requested by the plant manager/superintendent/foreperson and work in a team environment to support others.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently (haul truck, water truck, dump truck, dredge, track hoe, frontend loader, skid steer loader).

  • •Less than or equal to a high school diploma/GED (or one to three months related experience and/or training).
  • •Ability to understand and follow directions, and to read and interpret safety rules and operating/maintenance instructions.
  • •Ability to weld and fabricate as needed.
