•Develop, coordinate, and implement a government affairs strategy across US federal and state levels in partnership with senior leadership, legal, public policy, and responsible AI teams.
•Monitor US AI policy developments and regulatory shifts, proactively reporting trends and helping craft responses to initiatives, regulatory issues, and legislative drafts affecting the business.
•Cultivate and leverage relationships with lawmakers, regulators, federal agencies, state leaders, and regional trade bodies to guide political engagement.
•Translate complex technical and business objectives into effective policy advocacy by bridging corporate and political experience.
•Direct government relations consultants, lobbyists, and trade associations and oversee compliance of lobbying and political activities with applicable laws.

•Extensive experience navigating US federal and state political debates and adapting to new regulatory environments.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distill complex AI policy into documents, thought leadership, and briefings for varied audiences.
