Job Summary

Develop, sustain, and optimize metrology solutions that act as the quality gate for MEMS wafer fabrication, enabling high yield, process control, and successful NPI for advanced HP inkjet technologies. You’ll manage sustaining and excursion troubleshooting, qualify and calibrate metrology equipment across platforms (Fogale, CyberOptics), build and standardize metrology recipes with GR&R/SPC/SPACE data quality, and lead CIP projects to improve measurement capability, cycle time, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

•Sustain POM metrology processes to ensure stable measurement performance, accurate data capture, and timely lot disposition, including excursion management and rapid troubleshooting.
•Partner with equipment engineering to troubleshoot, qualify, calibrate, and upgrade metrology tools across platforms, ensuring accuracy, repeatability, and uptime.
•Develop, transfer, optimize, and qualify metrology recipes for NPI, running experiments and iterating measurement strategies to support yield ramp.
•Drive measurement system capability and control using GR&R, correlation, tool matching, and SPC/SPACE compliance to ensure data quality for process control.
•Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance measurement capability, cycle time, and automation, and work with process integration and worldwide teams to support yield improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
•3–5 years of experience in a semiconductor wafer fab or MEMS manufacturing environment, preferably in metrology or process engineering.
•Strong understanding of metrology concepts including GR&R, SPC, SPACE, correlation, and data analysis.
•Hands-on experience with optical or vision-based metrology systems (Fogale, CyberOptics, or equivalent).
•Ability to troubleshoot complex process and measurement issues with strong project management skills (experiment planning, risk assessment, timeline management, prioritization).
