Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake design and planning activities on maritime projects including container terminals, ports/harbors, and coastal resiliency.
  • •Support structural design for vertical building projects such as aviation facilities, transit stations, freight rail facilities, and ancillary buildings.
  • •Prepare structural design work using hand calculations, Excel workbooks, and structural analysis software to determine loading, foundation, and member specifications.
  • •Produce structural sketches, drawings, specifications, and reports under supervision of senior staff.
  • •Coordinate with in-house engineering disciplines and perform condition assessments and site visits as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field (or equivalent demonstrated education/experience).
  • •Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
  • •Master of Science with a Structural Engineering concentration.
  • •Experience with computer analysis and design software including SAP 2000, STAAD.Pro, and SAFE.
  • •Experience with Revit and AutoCAD, plus excellent oral and written communication skills.
