Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with stakeholders to drive data-led decision-making and support strategy using data and AI.
  • •Apply AI/ML and data science techniques to reduce manual work, including analysis of structured data and LLMs for unstructured data.
  • •Develop and maintain high standards of code quality, including adherence to code management best practices and pull request review.
  • •Communicate insights and AI/data best practices to non-experts and build adoption through clear, simple storytelling.
  • •Collaborate across the Zurich Group internationally to share knowledge and enhance collective data analytics capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong analytical, structured, and interdisciplinary thinking, comfortable with complex and ambiguous problems.
  • •Proficiency in Python and modern software development practices in a team (e.g., Git).
  • •Experience with SQL and databases, working across structured/unstructured data and very large datasets using distributed computing (e.g., Spark).
  • •Experience working with LLMs in a commercial organisation, including managing and monitoring LLM-based applications for performance.
  • •Proven experience developing and deploying machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
