Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments for water supply, wastewater, stormwater, or water treatment projects.
  • •Coordinate stakeholders including engineers, contractors, government agencies, Indigenous communities, and the public to ensure alignment and compliance.
  • •Ensure regulatory compliance with municipal, provincial, and federal water regulations, environmental standards, and permitting requirements.
  • •Review engineering designs, technical reports, and construction documents, providing guidance to ensure quality and feasibility.
  • •Manage RFPs and contracts, track expenditures and forecasts, and identify risks/issues while preparing progress reports and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical or Process).
  • •10+ years of experience (or demonstrated equivalency) in the municipal water/wastewater industry and project management.
  • •Registered as a Professional Engineer within Canada.
  • •Familiarity with industry standards and strong working knowledge of linear water and wastewater design and engineering.
  • •Proficient using common software packages (Excel, Word, MS Project, PowerPoint).
