Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish, maintain, and improve the technology project governance framework, policies, standards, templates, and decision rights.
  • •Govern project lifecycle stage gates and ensure consistent application of PMO controls across programs, projects, and transformation initiatives.
  • •Perform portfolio controls and independent project assurance (health checks, quality reviews, risk/materiality-based assessments).
  • •Own portfolio dashboards and management reporting, monitoring delivery KPIs, portfolio health, investment performance, and benefits realization.
  • •Lead and develop the PM Governance workforce through FTE planning, UAE National development, succession planning, mentoring/coaching, and PMO maturity improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Lead technology program and project governance, including lifecycle stage gates, deliverables, approvals, exceptions, and closure requirements.
  • •Run independent project health checks, quality reviews, and assurance assessments based on delivery risk and materiality.
  • •Own portfolio reporting and management information, including dashboards, project status standards, KPIs, data quality controls, and reporting calendars.
  • •Manage risk, issues, dependencies, change requests, decision tracking, and corrective-action closure with audit-ready evidence for internal, external, and regulatory reviews.
  • •Build and lead a PM Governance team using workforce/FTE planning, UAE National development, succession planning, coaching, and capability development.
