Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage end-to-end delivery of actuarial projects, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
  • •Operate as a scrutineer and subject matter expert on valuation, accounting, GMP equalisation, and data solution teams.
  • •Mentor and role-model junior colleagues in scrutineer behaviors and calculation processes, supporting progression toward checker role.
  • •Lead project kickoff, plan work with review points and milestones, and independently review and manage major projects.
  • •Prepare original materials for the lead actuary, answer client questions as a backup, and drive improvements to processes while handling annual appraisals for people manager roles.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduation in Mathematics/Statistics/Actuarial Science or a relevant actuarial background.
  • •Member of a recognized Actuarial Society such as IAI, IFOA, or SOA; actively pursuing actuarial exams or a qualified actuary.
  • •Minimum 6 years of relevant industry experience in employee benefits, retirement, and/or health benefits (preferably).
  • •Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail for actuarial calculations and processes.
  • •Ability to understand APAC pensions legislation and work as a starter scrutineer across major work types.
