Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out detailed surveys, measure hazards with specialist equipment, and compile reports and data for clients.
  • •Conduct sampling and preparation for analysis.
  • •Investigate occupational health and safety concerns and provide technical support for incident/near-miss reporting, investigations, and follow-up recommendations.
  • •Develop, review, update, and implement the OHS&E program, including related policies and procedures.
  • •Conduct regular inspections and audits and implement industrial hygiene actions, including reporting remedial actions and ensuring effective close-out.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Health, or another related field.
  • •Minimum 4 years’ experience (preferably in the mining industry).
  • •Strong negotiating skills, tact, and diplomacy.
  • •Knowledge of relevant legislation and training/experience in incident/accident reporting and investigation.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
