Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor the ASU via distributed control system/HMI and conduct field rounds to identify and report equipment and process deviations
  • •Troubleshoot, maintain, and support calibration of compressors, turboexpanders, cryogenic distillation columns, molecular sieve beds, gas analyzers, control valves, and instrumentation
  • •Execute plant startups, shutdowns, mode changes, and abnormal situation responses per operating procedures and alarm response matrices
  • •Collect process samples, perform basic field testing, log operational data accurately, and immediately report deviations
  • •Perform lockout/tagout, permit-to-work, job hazard analyses, and Process Safety Management (PSM) activities with discipline

Key Requirements

  • •Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or process engineering technology, or 6+ years of industrial or plant operations experience with air separation units, cryogenics, or industrial gases
  • •4+ years of experience operating or supporting automated industrial processes
  • •Experience using P&IDs and/or process flow diagrams for troubleshooting and field rounds
  • •Hands-on experience in a cryogenic plant or industrial gas / chemical / utilities facility (or similar propellant environment)
  • •Experience with DCS/HMI operation and lockout/tagout / job hazard analysis / PSM practices
