Job Summary

Lead multiple procurement projects across the Thermo King Trailer platform, partnering with commodity teams and cross-functional stakeholders to build implementation plans that improve productivity, drive continuous improvement, and support new product development. Own project execution through gate reviews and value analysis events, manage timelines and supplier relationships, forecast and report procurement financial metrics, and identify gaps with countermeasures to exceed targets. Work onsite Mon–Thu and choose your location Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage multiple procurement projects using standard work to execute implementation plans for productivity, continuous improvement, NPD, source change, and VAVE programs.
•Align commodity strategies with business unit, engineering platforms, and product management plans/requirements; coordinate plant and business unit strategies with commodity teams.
•Evaluate business needs against supplier capabilities to select preferred suppliers and manage supplier relationships and contracts.
•Forecast and report procurement financial metrics (productivity and inflation) and support the annual operating plan for productivity initiatives.
•Participate in productivity gate reviews and represent Procurement during plant/product VAVE or MMR events, driving actions and escalating issues as needed.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 64,500 - 135,300 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, finance, or engineering preferred with 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, engineering, project management, and/or operations.
•Strong understanding of procurement processes at operational and leadership levels.
•Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, multitask, proactively plan, and resolve problems with little assistance.
•Proficiency in computer applications and tools such as Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint.
•Fluent English and Spanish preferred, with ability to travel up to 20%.
