Key Responsibilities

  • •Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture across exploration activities and ensure alignment of exploration goals with business objectives.
  • •Lead development of a target generation toolkit: build data foundations, criteria, and workflows that convert regional-scale information into ranked, drill-ready targets.
  • •Expand and refine proprietary deposit and metallogenic domain databases globally, including digitizing and standardizing paper archives into structured, searchable datasets.
  • •Rank and prioritize generative work areas using statistical and spatial analysis, and mentor geoscientists on adoption and continuous improvement of the tools.
  • •Evaluate and secure acquisition opportunities: conduct field reconnaissance, ground-truth priority targets, manage program budgets/timelines, and present recommendations to leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of experience in generative exploration, opportunity recognition, and project evaluation, translating regional datasets and deposit models into ranked, drill-ready targets.
  • •Master’s degree (or other advanced degree) in Geology required.
  • •Proven record identifying underexplored Tier 1 silver/gold opportunities, securing land positions, and designing effective exploration programs.
  • •Broad expertise across geologic domains and deposit types, with depth in hypothesis-driven geological interpretation and integration of geochemical, geophysical, and remote sensing data.
  • •Proficiency with ArcGIS, Leapfrog, ioGAS, and Microsoft Office; experience building and managing large geoscientific databases with QA/QC and spatial data management.
