Key Responsibilities

  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle, including producing and presenting the final cost plan.
  • •Review and collaborate with design services and the general contractor to develop cost estimates, and reconcile contractor changes to ensure data accuracy.
  • •Manage cost checks, valuations, cost impacts, contingency management, commitment tracking, and post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
  • •Coordinate cost information sources for cost discussions, lead negotiations on behalf of the client, and provide commercial input to design optioneering and value engineering.
  • •Prepare monthly cost reports and funding data presentations, coordinate VE sessions, manage cost auditing/valuation validation, and support SOX control responsibilities where applicable.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 135,000 - 170,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related construction field.
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium to large-scale construction projects of medium to high complexity.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards accreditation is preferred.
  • •Strong knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
