Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with scientists and engineers to define research project requirements and design new assays or methods to address scientific challenges.
•Provide technical perspective as a subject matter expert to cross-functional teams delivering hair and scalp technologies.
•Critically evaluate literature for benchmarking, regulatory context, and commercial relevance.
•Design hypothesis-driven experiments and proof-of-concept validation investigations.
•Troubleshoot experimental inconsistencies and guide colleagues in method improvements, data interpretation, and compliance constraints.

Key Requirements

•Advanced degree or equivalent industry experience in Biology, Bioengineering, or a closely related discipline with a demonstrated track record of operating at the interface of biological systems and engineered technologies.
•Experience developing technologies in an industry or commercial context.
•Quantitative & analytical thinking: translate biological phenomena into engineering constraints and design parameters.
•Experience working in a biological wet lab: cell culture, biological assays and cell-material interaction analysis.
•Proven expertise in biological assay development and troubleshooting of noisy, variable biological data.
