Key Responsibilities

•Lead deep-dive architecture reviews and design engagements with customer teams and leaders to share industry trends, best practices, and demonstrate how Datadog can support high-throughput hyper-scale AI workloads
•Demonstrate thought leadership in the AI/LLM space; influence decision makers by connecting technical capabilities to business impact
•Strategically partner with founders, Heads of Infrastructure, and Research Leads; guide best practices and emerging trends in AI adoption
•Identify AI-native technology shifts and feed them back to Product Management; co-create observability integrations with Product SAs
•Collaborate with PSA, Sales, Sales Engineering and Marketing to provide high-quality technical resources; assist leadership in recruiting for PSA and Field CTO teams

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience with at-scale distributed systems architecture, high-performance computing, or large-scale infrastructure, with deep familiarity in AI/LLM ecosystems, accelerator hardware (GPUs/TPUs) and modern orchestration frameworks
•Strategic thinker able to forecast trends and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
•Proven experience influencing elite individual contributors, research scientists, and technical founders in fast-growth environments
•Technologist with hands-on credibility who can whiteboard architectural solutions with senior engineers and understands AI/LLM Ops and LLM Observability (LLMO)
•Excellent customer-facing presentation and written communication skills; willing to travel up to 50% and hold a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in engineering or related field
