Key Responsibilities

  • •Set direction, build, and lead the Oceania Procurement Strategy aligned to DP World’s global playbook.
  • •Create and continuously evolve the procurement operating model covering business partnering, category expertise, sourcing, and transactional support.
  • •Drive sustainable savings and commercial value using benchmarking, market testing, negotiation, and a accountable savings pipeline.
  • •Lead category strategy and strategic sourcing, including running complex tenders and rigorous supplier selection.
  • •Maintain procurement governance, risk management, compliance, and responsible sourcing, including Modern Slavery compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years in procurement or commercial leadership, including senior procurement roles in large, complex organizations.
  • •Proven track record building procurement strategies, operating models, and transformation programs that deliver measurable outcomes.
  • •Deep experience in strategic sourcing, category management, and negotiating high-value, complex contracts.
  • •Strong procurement governance, risk management, and responsible sourcing experience, including Modern Slavery compliance.
  • •Hands-on experience with ERP, e-sourcing, and contract lifecycle systems; CIPS/MCIPS/CPSM highly regarded.
