Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and coordinate board and governance matters including preparation of agenda, review and analysis of board materials, briefings, recommendation and actions for resolutions.
  • •Act as primary contact point between the JV companies and all Saudi Aramco organizations and ensure effective communication protocol between stakeholders.
  • •Monitor and provide guidance on JV business including corporate governance, commercial terms and various contractual and JV agreements in collaboration with other teams (Finance, HR, Technical Performance and HSE).
  • •Organize and coordinate workshops related to JV operations including technical performance, HSE, commercial and legal matters between stakeholders.
  • •Monitor and provide support services on JV capital projects and coordinate required approvals in accordance with the shareholders’ policies and guidelines.

Key Requirements

  • •A Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering (or other disciplines of engineering) from a recognized and approved program.
  • •A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas value chain preferably within an International Oil Company (IOC) or National Oil Company (NOC). At least 5+ years of this experience will be in the joint venture management.
  • •Strong background in corporate governance, commercial issues and various contractual agreements in Upstream Joint Ventures.
  • •Strong technical background in either Petroleum Engineering or Drilling Engineering.
  • •Familiar with financial analysis.
