Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop environmental compliance tasks and update operating procedures to demonstrate compliance with environmental regulations (including Title V and HRVOC site cap requirements).
  • •Act as the key communicator between Environmental and Operations/Maintenance groups, maintaining understanding of applicable environmental citations and rules.
  • •Track emissions for assigned units relative to site and permit limits and support planning to maintain compliance with emission caps and limits.
  • •Identify, investigate, communicate, and lead efforts to correct potential deviations; prepare regulatory deviation and corrective action reports when required.
  • •Support audits and corrective action follow-up/closure, participate in MOC activities to ensure environmental requirements are addressed, and drive continuous environmental improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 10+ years of plant Operations experience, including at least 5 years at the specific plant where the opening occurs.
  • •Thorough technical understanding of plant chemical processes and unit operations (technical process expert).
  • •Good understanding of environmental requirements affecting the plant, including Title V compliance responsibilities.
  • •Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with frequent interaction across departments and functional groups.
  • •Demonstrated ability to lead diverse groups and reach consensus; supervisory experience of an hourly workgroup is desirable.
