Key Responsibilities

•Own the server-side agent runtime and the service that runs Boards' agent workflows, including state management, checkpointing, interrupt-and-resume, error recovery and observability.
•Define and own how server-side workflows dispatch to browser-only tools and ensure reliable multiplayer collaboration with the same document.
•Own the integration between Boards' agent runtime and Adobe's central agent platform, shaping platform contracts across organizations.
•Refactor Boards APIs to be agent-callable with proper idempotency, transactional boundaries, undo, and multiplayer-aware mutations.
•Maintain production-grade systems: end-to-end observability, latency budgets, deployment and rollback processes to scale from prototype to operable at scale.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
•10+ years of product engineering experience with significant ownership of production systems at scale
•Demonstrated full stack depth: backend services and modern web client work with JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Lit/Vue, and a strong server-side language
•Distributed systems depth with state management, checkpointing, async work, long-running operations, and recovery from partial failure
•Experience integrating with a central platform team as a tenant and shaping platform services across teams
