Job Summary

Build and scale a world-class small-molecule screening organization across the discovery platform. Design and deploy biophysical instrumentation and assay platforms to validate, confirm, and triage screening hits, and establish biochemical activity and mechanistic (mode-of-action) assays. Execute DNA-encoded library (DEL) screening strategies and develop hit-to-lead workflows in close partnership with chemistry, computational, and automation teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement capabilities, workflows, and infrastructure to rapidly evaluate and advance small-molecule hits across therapeutic modalities.
•Implement and scale biophysical instrumentation and assay platforms to validate, confirm, and triage screening hits.
•Build screening technologies integrated with AI-driven chemistry and robotic synthesis capabilities to identify novel chemical matter.
•Establish, optimize, and deploy biochemical activity assays for target triage and robust validation of screening hits.
•Develop and execute DEL screening strategies, including downstream validation pipelines and hit-to-lead-enabling workflows.

Key Requirements

•PhD in Biology, Chemical Biology, Biochemistry, or related field with 8–12 years of drug discovery experience, or MS/BS with 15+ years of small molecule discovery and screening experience.
•Track record designing and delivering high-throughput screening (HTS) campaigns for small molecule discovery.
•Deep expertise in biophysical and biochemical assay development for screening hit triage/validation and medicinal chemistry enablement.
•Experience in automation- and robotics-enabled labs, including liquid handling integration, assay automation, and scalable experimental workflows.
•Strong proficiency with DNA-encoded library (DEL) screening and end-to-end hit identification, triage, and validation workflows.
