Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure a robust risk management framework is in place for broader areas of Allianz Commercial, with risks managed by the 1st Line of Defence in line with risk strategy.
  • •Test key controls and oversee the effective implementation of risk mitigation measures, engaging directly with senior business management.
  • •Manage Internal Control System related activities and ensure robust, consistent control processes within the area of responsibility.

Key Requirements

  • •Several years of relevant risk management experience (ideally 7–10 years), with strong qualitative risk identification, assessment, and control knowledge.
  • •A Master’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, or a related field; a relevant professional certification is an advantage.
  • •Strong knowledge of non-financial risk management frameworks and finance topics relevant to a global insurance organization.
  • •Advanced risk analysis skills to assess complex risk exposures, identify key drivers, and provide clear recommendations to senior management.
  • •Experience with risk governance, including implementing and maintaining policies, standards, and internal control systems; strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, Open Pages/ORGS) are beneficial.
