Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic leadership and oversight for Chicagoland adult education programming, including measurable goals, objectives, outcomes, and KPIs.
  • •Lead continuous improvement across instructional services, learner engagement, support services, digital/distance learning, and workforce preparation.
  • •Oversee workforce and career training initiatives and strengthen pathway opportunities through partnerships with employers, workforce boards, and education institutions.
  • •Ensure program performance and grant compliance; collaborate on grant proposals, continuation applications, work plans, reports, and outcome documentation.
  • •Supervise and develop program managers, coordinators, instructors, and support staff; lead performance management, goal setting, and personnel actions within policy.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 88,000 - 100,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Experience coaching and supervising staff, with prior supervisory and management experience required.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in TESOL, training & development, instructional design, higher education, education administration, non-profit administration, or a related field required.
  • •Demonstrated experience in program/project management and managing multiple demands and deadlines.
  • •Proficiency with Word and Excel (or equivalent) and basic skills with PowerPoint (or equivalent).
  • •Ability to manage grant objectives by collecting and using data to drive decision-making and meet compliance requirements.
