Job Summary

Lead software systems engineering efforts to build Python applications, automation frameworks, and engineering tools that improve AMD product delivery. Partner across multiple teams to identify AI opportunities, run proof-of-concepts from evaluation through deployment, and develop APIs, data pipelines, and workflow automation. Own technical troubleshooting by debugging complex software and system integrations, and evaluate new technologies to increase team efficiency. Mentor engineers and promote software best practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive development of Python applications, automation frameworks, and engineering tools.
•Lead software development efforts and technical initiatives across multiple teams.
•Lead AI and emerging technology proof-of-concept (POC) efforts from evaluation through deployment.
•Develop APIs, data pipelines, and workflow automation solutions.
•Debug and resolve complex software and system integration issues; mentor engineers and promote best practices.

Key Requirements

•Strong Python development skills, including object-oriented programming, testing, and performance optimization.
•Experience building APIs, automation frameworks, and scalable software applications.
•Proficiency with modern development practices including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews.
•Experience developing and integrating AI/ML solutions, including LLM-based applications and agent frameworks.
•Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical or computer engineering.
