Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect products to standards and identify defective production that is not suitable for release in a timely manner.
  • •Learn raw material attributes (colour and mechanical) and adjust formulations to meet product specifications.
  • •Prepare test specimens using injection moulding machines and conduct tests to internal and international standards.
  • •Maintain systems for calibration of test equipment and ensure Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (Gage R&R) records are maintained.
  • •Support non-conforming production control via recording, investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventative actions; assist quality/lab manager with other activities and operate SAP/CIMAG systems.

Key Requirements

  • •GCSEs in Mathematics, English, and Science (ideally a science degree).
  • •1–2 years of experience in quality control or a laboratory environment.
  • •1–2 years of experience in a quality inspection role or R&D role, preferably in polymer manufacturing.
  • •Experience in a colour evaluation role with responsibilities adjusting formulations to meet product specifications.
  • •Fluency in written and verbal English.
