Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the project and design approach for renewable energy projects with multidiscipline engineering inputs.
  • •Support and lead project delivery excellence by leading work packages and arranging technical verification within AECOM standards and processes.
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across renewable project disciplines (e.g., civil, structural, electrical, and project management) to deliver technically outstanding solutions.
  • •Build and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on transmission line design work packages.
  • •Mentor graduate and early-stage engineers to strengthen their transmission-related technical, design, and project capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience leading renewable energy engineering projects across multiple technologies and OEMs, including construction and commissioning stages.
  • •Ability to operate holistically in a design management capacity, understanding technical inputs, requirements, and verification across engineering components.
  • •Balance of plant system experience, with a track record managing design, procurement, construction, and commissioning stages.
  • •Experience interpreting site, technical, and contract requirements in an owners’ engineer role, including BESS performance guidelines.
  • •Registration (or actively working toward) on Australia’s National Engineering Register (e.g., RPEV or RPEQ), ideally supported by a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) designation or equivalent accreditation.
